Simon Burns is a Senior Manager at PwC Singapore with more than 10 years of financial services industry experience. His areas of expertise include green and sustainable financing, sustainable financial services policy and regulation, and sustainable finance innovation. While in Singapore he has focused on transition financing and transition planning, leveraging experience drawn from previous roles in the UK. Prior to moving to Singapore, Simon was Head of Sustainable Finance Innovation at the City of London Corporation - the municipal governing body of the ‘Square Mile’, the UK’s financial services centre. While there, he led the Corporation’s policy engagement at the UN COP26 and COP27 conferences, alongside groupings such as the Glasgow Financial Alliance for Net Zero (GFANZ), and latterly the UK Transition Plan Taskforce (TPT).
