Johannah Christensen is Chief Executive Officer of the Global Maritime Forum, an international non-profit organisation committed to shaping the future of global seaborne trade to increase sustainable long-term economic development and human well-being. The forum brings together a broad spectrum of leaders from across the industry to find new solutions to the most important challenges facing the industry today and in the future. The Global Maritime Forum is a Founding Partner of the Getting to Zero Coalition.

Johannah Christensen joined the forum in 2017 as Managing Director, Head of Projects & Programmes, and has served as CEO since July 2021. During her career, Ms Christensen has helped businesses address global challenges in a variety of different roles, working at INDEX: Design to Improve Life, Scandinavian think tank Monday Morning, the World Economic Forum and as an independent advisor.
