Jeanne Stampe

Green Finance Resource Lead

Jeanne is the Green Finance Resource Lead at the Monetary Authority of Singapore. She is an active member of international sustainable finance platforms for central banks, financial supervisors and securities regulators such as the NGFS, IOSCO STF, SIF and BCBS TFCR. Jeanne is also a Senior Fellow at the SOAS University of London Centre for Sustainable Finance, which is part of the International Network for Sustainable Financial Policy Insights, Research and Exchange (INSPIRE) research network.

Between 2011 and 2020, Jeanne was Head of Asia Sustainable Finance at WWF Asia. Jeanne created and led WWF’s Asia Sustainable Finance Programme and was part of the Global Finance Practice leadership team which developed WWF’s global sustainable finance strategy. Jeanne helmed significant capacity building efforts and developed online learning tools for financial institutions across Asia. She worked with ASEAN banking supervisors to support the development of their sustainable banking guidelines. She has co-authored or contributed to 20 publications and policy reports in the area of sustainable finance and responsible investment. Prior to this, she worked 14 years in private equity and investment banking in London, New York, Stockholm and Singapore.

Jeanne holds a BA (Hons) and MA (Cantab) in Economics from the University of Cambridge.
