David is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of ABC World Asia Pte Ltd. Headquartered in Singapore, ABC World Asia is a private equity fund focusing on impact investing, with S$405m under management and backed by Temasek Trust, Temasek and Pavilion Capital. ABC World Asia is committed to generate positive, measurable social and environmental impact alongside a compelling risk-adjusted financial return.

David has over 25 years of working experience in the financial industry. Prior to his appointment in ABC World Asia, he was the Joint Head of Consumer, Head of Real Estate Investment, Joint Head of China & Head of Japan & Korea at Temasek. Before joining Temasek in 2003, he was with Deutsche Bank AG as its Vice President (Telecom, Media & Technology) of Investment Banking from 2000 to 2003 and Vice President of Merger & Acquisition Advisory for Hong Kong and Singapore from 1998 to 2000. Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, he was working in Standard Chartered Merchant Bank.

David holds directorships in several companies including SEA limited, Singapore Art Museum and SeaTown Holdings Pte. Ltd.

He graduated from the University of Canterbury, NZ with a Bachelor of Engineering degree. He holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Hull, UK.
