Over the past 12 months, Temasek worked with a number of knowledge partners, including AlphaBeta, A.T. Kearney, and Ernst & Young, to explore the business case for further sustainable development further. We organised a series of closed-door discussions involving participants ranging from business leaders to stakeholders from the Singapore government and civil society.
It is becoming clear that if businesses do not dramatically shift their focus on sustainability, they face risks to their reputation and business operations from climate change impact and additional regulations from the government.
This Ecosperity Conversations 2018 report provides a synthesis of the main takeaways and insights that span across areas such as healthcare, food and agriculture, energy and materials, cities, textiles, industry 4.0 and resource recovery.
