The 11th edition of Ecosperity Week 2025 will gather global business leaders, policymakers, investors and civil society from Asia and beyond to discuss critical and near-term solutions in technology, policy and finance to accelerate Asia’s decarbonisation and deliver real progress to avert the worst effects of climate change by 2030. Presented by Temasek, Ecosperity Week will take place from 5 to 8 May 2025 at the Sands Expo & Convention Centre in Singapore.
Ms Kyung-Ah Park, Chief Sustainability Officer, Temasek, said, “Sustainability is facing a challenging juggling act, with the macro headwinds we’re seeing globally, coupled with the need to balance security and affordability. But climate action is a business imperative, and one that comes with immense opportunities — whether it is in scaling green solutions or enabling businesses to transition and thrive in a low-carbon economy. Ecosperity Week is a springboard for action; to galvanise partnerships and to work towards the systems-level change we need to realise a sustainable world, for current and future generations.”
The Week kickstarts with the Opening Dinner on 5 May. Mr Dilhan Pillay Sandrasegara, Executive Director & CEO of Temasek, will give welcome remarks at the dinner, followed by a fireside chat between Mr Bill Gates, Founder, Breakthrough Energy and Co-chair, Gates Foundation, and Mr Ravi Menon, Ambassador for Climate Action, Republic of Singapore on the power of partnerships, innovation and financing to catalyse climate technologies and drive Asia’s decarbonisation.
The conference plenaries on 6 and 7 May will also feature distinguished speakers including Mr Teo Chee Hean, Senior Minister and Coordinating Minister for National Security, Republic of Singapore; Mr Simon Stiell, Executive Secretary, United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC); Ms Rachel Kyte, Special Representative for Climate of the United Kingdom (6 May); Mr Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad, Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability (NRES) & Member of Parliament for Setiawangsa, Malaysia and Ms Mary Schapiro, Vice Chair, Glasgow Financial Alliance for Net Zero (7 May).

The sixth edition of the Southeast Asia Green Economy report, titled “Unlocking Systems for Growth and Impact”, will be launched on 6 May. Co-authored by Bain & Company, GenZero, Google, Standard Chartered Bank, and Temasek, the report highlights how a systems-based approach to decarbonising Southeast Asia, coupled with wider collaboration across Asia-Pacific, could drive significant regional economic growth while closing the emissions gap in a concerted manner over the next five years.
Day 2, 7 May: Financing Asia's Transition (FAST) Conference – The conference will focus on public-private partnerships and innovative financing mechanisms to mobilise capital at scale and accelerate Asia’s transition.
A report by BCG and Temasek on “The Private Equity Opportunity in Climate Adaptation and Resilience” will be launched on 7 May. The report highlights a timely and compelling opportunity for private equity to lead the next wave of growth and impact in climate adaptation and resilience solutions, where private investment remains limited despite growing demand.
